Marina Port Vell announces berthing discounts

Luxury Barcelona based shipyard Marina Port Vell has recently announced its berthing discounts for the coming months. A popular superyacht marina since 1992, Marina Port Vell has hosted some of the finest yachts from all over the world.

Now, to celebrate its grand re-opening, it’s offering special “welcome home” rates to ensure ample dockage for transient yachts. The marina has announced it’s providing this “pre-opening” promotion as an incentive for owners and captains to build their Mediterranean itineraries and better familiarise themselves with Marina Port Vell and the Catalan region.

All nautical work at the marina is due to be completed in July 2014 with the restaurant and reception buildings finished in October.

Beginning on the 1st of June and running throughout the summer months, any yacht staying two weeks or more will save 50% on dock rental fees while berthed in the marina.

For those looking to spend the winter of 2015 in Barcelona, MPV is also offering a full 50% discount for long-term leases.
