Croatia's boat show to be biggest yet

Croatia's Biograd Boat Show, from 23 to the 26th October, is set to be the biggest yet with more exhibitors, seminars on boat maintenance and over 100 second-hand boats on display.

The BBS - now part of the International Federation of Boat Show Organisers - has become the main boat show of central Europe.

The 16th edition of the show boasts 250 exhibitors, a yacht charter information centre representing more than 500 vessels at the show, for both consumers and agents.

The 36m event ship Nada will offer free on water tours and will be used for meetings and presentations. Free rides will be offered on semi-submersibles and high speed RIB vessels.

Four regattas are connected with the show, including the Austrian Offshore Cruising Championships, Elan 210 match race, and the one-day BBS regatta which is open to various classes.

It costs five euros to enter with free admission for children aged 14 and under. You can fly direct from Stansted to Zadar airport which is 20 miles from Biograd.
