Sailing yacht Y712 heads out on sea trials

Currently out on the North Sea conducting her first sea trials is the impressive 106-metre sailing yacht project Y712. The Oceanco-built super sailor was launched in September last year, which, at the time, was the Dutch shipyard’s largest project. A few months later, and the new 110-metre Y714, launched earlier this week, now claims that spot.

The project is the largest yacht designed by the Italian design duo at Nuvolari Lenard, who has worked with Oceanco before on superyachts such as Alfa Nero and Seven Seas. The design studio brought their usual Italian flair to the table and managed to hide the vessel’s impressive 2,700 GT volume in a sleek and well-proportioned design.
