Ferretti has signed a multiyear lease for office, shop and slip space at Lauderale Marine Center in Florida. One reason Ferretti inked the deal, according to a press release from Lauderdale Marine Center, is that the center has a Foreign-Trade Zone (also known as a free-trade zone) that lets the builder import yachts without paying American tax. The 8th-Annual Les Voiles de St. Barth 2017 sailing regatta was held from April 10-15 in the French West Indies island of St. Barth. The race had 10 heats and the best overall winners were the crew of Proteus, an Oyster 655 cutter. She defended her 2016 title. The crew won an RM 60-01 Regatta Flyback Chronograph watch.
